After years of anticipation, a sophisticated new hotel has officially made its debut in downtown Toronto. Say hello to TOOR Hotel, a sleek and stylish newcomer developed by Manga Hotel Group in collaboration with Canadian hotelier Sukhdev Toor.
This new hotspot marks one of the group’s most upscale projects to date, nestled in the heart of the city at 203 Jarvis Street. TOOR takes up the lower portion of a striking 32-storey tower, with 232 elegant guest rooms and 203 Residences on Jarvis—a collection of 181 high-rise rental suites—rising above.
The interiors, imagined by the globally celebrated DesignAgency, bring serious design cred to the space. Known for their work on The Drake Hotel’s Modern Wing and the opulent renovations at the Four Seasons Toronto, the firm has created an environment that feels both high-end and harmoniously connected to the city.
Inspired by Toronto’s urban parks and natural escapes, the hotel’s rooms are outfitted with modern, nature-inspired décor, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, Nespresso machines, and 55-inch flat screens, blending comfort and chic city living.
Step into the lobby and you’re greeted by a verdant living green wall, a mosaic floral feature, and polished wood finishes, echoing the hotel’s nod to the outdoors.
But the experience doesn’t end at the rooms. TOOR is loaded with indulgent extras: a two-storey dining space called Muse Bistro + Bar, a 1500 sq. ft. fitness and yoga centre, and a 3000 sq. ft. terrace bathed in southern sunlight. Muse operates both as a relaxed ground-floor lounge and a refined dining destination upstairs, making it perfect for everything from casual cocktails to special-occasion dinners.
TOOR’s grand opening comes on the heels of the new Union Hotel in the Financial District, giving Toronto visitors—and locals craving a luxe staycation—plenty to be excited about.
